| G20 Update

The following notice is directed to residents who are or will be training in Toronto during the G20 Summit:
PAIRO would like to remind residents where to access important information and updates regarding the upcoming G20. PAIRO is the first point of contact for residents across the Province, and it is essential that we have accurate and up to date information so that we can support your communication efforts. Therefore, we have been urging all hospital administration and postgraduate offices to copy PAIRO on all communiques sent to residents.
The postgraduate medical education office at The University of Toronto has been sending email reminders to residents and fellows daily which contains information regarding registration, PGME closures, and transportation and security issues. This information is regularly updated and can be accessed directly by clicking here.
It is also our understanding is that any rescheduling or alternative arrangements in relation to rotations/call, based on resident transportation or other personal arrangements, are being made at the local program and training site level. We suggest speaking with your Program Director or Hospital Human Resources department for further information.
