General Council is PAIRO's decision-making and governing body. It is comprised of resident representatives from across the province based on proportional representation distributed amongst 22 Electoral Groups. GC representatives bring the voice of their resident constituents to General Council as PAIRO sets it's policy and directions for the year.

GC reps participate in a full range of PAIRO activities. As part of this role, reps attend GC meetings. Getting involved is extremely rewarding and we highly encourage you to put your name forward for a position! Nominations are open until Monday August 23rd, so get your name in now-send it to elections@pairo.org.
